Stretching across Georgia Tech’s campus, the Eco-Commons reclaims formerly paved land to restore a vital green corridor in the heart of the city. Designed with ecological resilience in mind, the landscape features native meadows, reforested zones, bioswales, and permeable pathways that manage stormwater, support biodiversity, and provide restorative open space for the campus community.
This series documents the integration of natural systems and placemaking, where landscape architecture becomes a living, evolving infrastructure.
